Our Family Adventure!

Hi and thanks for coming by! We just returned from our trip to Disney World. We spent a fun filled week playing in the Disney parks with our children and grandchildren, eating too much of the great food, enjoying our resort, and having an all around wonderful time. We celebrated New Year's Eve in Hollywood Studios--they throw an awesome party! The only downside is that in the beginning of the trip I came down with a bad respiratory infection so I had to spend a day in the ER and another day resting the room. But I had a lovely view, ordered room service, and read an entire book, so I made the best of it. We miss Disney already so I can't wait to start scrapbooking every magical of memory we brought home with us. It really is the happiest place on earth! Unfortunately I have to work off those pineapple floats they sell in Magic Kingdom--they're my weakness. After all the excitement of vacation I'm really happy to be back in my craft room. I've got my Ebay auctions back in full swing and soon I'll share a few new winter projects that are almost ready to go. My biggest news is the giveaway that started on New Year's Day! If you haven't entered yet there's still plenty of time. Just hop over to yesterday's post and you'll find all the details:-))

  2. Hi Luanne!
I love Disney! It really is magical. You go there expecting them to give 100% and they give 1000% instead. I don't know how they do it, but I'm so glad they do.
    Hugs,
    Nancy

  3. Hey Nancy,
I was looking through youtube for disney scrapbooking ideas. Me and my family just had a great vacation at disney recently during christmas and new year as well, and I came across your blog through your youtube videos. I am also a nursing student currently and I love crafting and scrapbooking. It is something that makes me really happy and it is my way of preserving my memories for my kids to see someday. I am still a starter and so far I have made few projects for my family, and friends. Currently I am a little tight on schedule so do not have much time for it but you and some more people out there are a huge inspiration for me. I look forward to seeing your beautiful disney scrapbook.

  4. Hi!
It's such a small world, isn't it? We love Disney World. Each year at Christmas we take the children and grandchildren to Disney as our gift to them. It's just as much a gift for ourselves though, because we treasure spending that time with them.
I'm doing a new type of album this year because my husband got me an Accucut Grande Mark for Christmas, along with the die to create a castle album. If you like the die shape I can cut some from chipboard for you for your own album. You can see the die if you go to the Accucut Craft website. They have two castle shapes, but mine is the one with the 'Bare Elements Reyna Book 2' die. Let me know if you'd like some and I'd be happy to send them to you.
Best wishes to you in nursing school! It can be tough sometimes, but it's sooooo worth it.
    Hugs,
    Nancy

  5. Hey there, it sure is a small world and internet makes it even easier for people to connect. Currently I am busy with nursing school so I unfortunately had to post pond my Disney scrapbook until summer, but I will be glad to see yours when you are done as an inspiration! :) I love your vintage scraping and it has inspired me a lot. And yes Nursing school can be a handful a lot of the times, but it totally is worth it when your patients appreciate you.
