Holiday Hues Challenge!

Hello and Happy New Year! I hope you're enjoying the many festivities of the season.

We're ringing in the New Year with a brand new challenge over at the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog. Our theme is Holiday Hues with guidelines as follows: create a vintage or shabby chic project using your favorite holiday color palette, whatever holiday you choose

For challenge details and exciting prize information just click on the blog link above. Our challenges are all about youand we can't wait to see what you're creating! If you've never played along before don't be shy about jumping in and sharing your art.

I'm down to the wire with my Christmas cards. I just got this one in the mail a couple of days ago with hopes of it arriving by New Year. My last banner card of the season. I really enjoyed making these this year. My color palette is wintery blues and neutrals.

I layered, distressed, and stitched  papers from Maja Design's Vintage Frost Basics collection. The banner elements are part of the paper collection, with the exception of the die cut pine trees and the burlap, which came from Linda's shop. I added a dusting of Gesso for a frosty feel.

Thank you so much for visiting me! I hope you'll join us over at the Frilly and Funkie with your own gorgeous creations. Wishing many blessings throughout the New Year to my wonderful crafty family!

Hugs,
