Hello and welcome, my friends! How are you doing? It's been a stressful couple of days for everyone, with the shock of the tragedy in Las Vegas. My heart is filled with incredible sadness for all of lives touched in any way by this terrible event. Your life is never, ever the same after you've lost someone you love. I pray you and your families are safe and sound.
I'm actually posting on back to back days, and blessed to be sharing a project on the Maja Design Blog this lovely fall day. The October Mood Board Challenge launched yesterday with projects featuring Denim & Friends in crisp autumn hues. It is such fun working with fall colors, but today I'm using the collection in another way to showcase the versatility. It can be easy to assume it's primarily a masculine collection, but this card takes us in a completely different direction, with pretty florals and a soft palette.
The base of the card is prepared by distressing, layering, and stitching the design papers. The flowers that comprise the focal point are ones I received last year and rescued from my stash.
I added a bit of rubber stamping using a script stamp. A length of aged lace, jewel toned sprigs, and a twine bow complete the embellishments.
Hugs,

The jewel toned sprigs add a touch of elegance to this soft, thoughtful card, and your use of the paper range is as usual superb.
