Hello, dear friends! I hope you're having a wonderful beginning to the New Year! I'm so happy you stopped by. I know how busy things can get this time of year. As I write this post we are in the midst of a major snow storm in Charleston. It's a winter wonderland for sure, as there are about 5 inches of snow on the ground! The last time we had snow was in 2010, so it's a pretty big event for us. My backyard squirrels and songbirds (who have never seen snow) are not quite sure what to make of it, but we provide them with plenty of food and shelter, so we're hopeful they'll stay healthy and safe through the winter weather.
I have exciting news to share from Maja Design. A brand new collection is in the works and is about to be released! I can't tell you more just yet, except to say that you don't have much longer to wait.
I'm excited to be starting the New Year with sharing a card on the Maja Design Blog! This week I created a card for my dear friend's birthday using papers from Maja Design's lovely Vintage Summer Basics.
The beautiful papers absolutely work magic in bringing this festive rose garden to life. The roses, stamped sentiment, and curly confetti are handmade from design paper. The only portion of this project that is not made with Maja Design paper is the twine and ribbon.

Below is a peek at the interior of the card, where is space for a personal sentiment. This portion is created to be removable, so the recipient may insert a photo at a later time if desired.
If you're wondering where you can purchase these beautiful papers, just click on this link for the STORE FINDER to locate a shop near you. I send wishes for warmth and light as we continue our journey through the winter months. It's the perfect time to get cozy in our crafting space and let creativity flow!
