  2. Nancy, this is just wonderful! Really sets my mind toward fall and I needed that inspiration! I still want summer and blues, but have fall projects due. LOL! Do you have a video or pic tutorial on your flower making? I just love every last one of your handmade flowers and would love to try more with my patterned papers. Thanks! 1. Thank you so much, Autumn!

I saw at Frilly and Funkie you already noticed the flowers are Prima-lol! I love making flowers, but sometimes I see all the Prima gorgeousness and just have to buy a few:-))

I know what you mean about the summer blues. It's REALLY been a long, hot summer in South Carolina. We were down to 90 degrees on Sunday, but the heat index was still 99. The humidity was so high you could see mist in the air. I am definitely ready for fall.

      Hugs,

      Nancy

  4. Nancy, this is just gorgeous. The directions were so easy, and I was able to put one together (just the basic album with no embellishments yet) in under an hour. I do have some questions:

    1. Does yours have openings between the pages for a hidden tag? Or do you use adhesive all around?
    2. Why don't you add the adhesive to the pages all in one step instead of one edge and then the other?
    3. Is the dimension for the spine supposed to be 6.5" instead of 6"? Mine didn't fit, but maybe I'm missing something.

Again, thanks for the easy tutorial!

    1. Thank you so much, Dodie!

Yes, the openings are for the addition of journaling tags, which is why I didn't adhere the center of the page. I meant to show that as a step, then forgot. I was really down to the wire with the photos of this one because my computer was acting up. I finished the post at 1:45 am and it went live at 2:00 am!

It is 6.5x6. I started out to make it 6x6, but something about the pocket going halfway up the page didn't look quite right, so I changed it. The extra half inch gave just enough height for the pocket.

I'm so happy you enjoyed the tutorial and that you've already created your first album! I thank you for your kind words!

      Hugs,

      Nancy

Your tutorial is excellent - thanks so much for sharing it, I have bookmarked it for future reference. xx
