Hi to all! This is my very first blog post ever in my life!!! My kids are never going to believe this. As soon as I finish I'm calling to tell them about it! Yes, I have a reputation for being technologically challenged, but I'm working on it (baby steps:-)) The photo above is a vintage tag I recently created. I love making tags and mini albums. I like to add a lot of dimension to my projects, and of course almost everything I do is prim or vintage. So I have successfully added my first photo to my blog. I tried adding music to my blog (about 10 times) with all attempts ending in failure. All advice in this area is appreciated.

  1. Hi Tracey,
Well after my 37th attempt to leave a comment let's hope that this one is accepted ok. There are certainly Gremlins in the Google system at the moment. I have decided it's a good idea to follow the advice of Mary Poppins and "start at the very beginning" of you goergous blog, so as not to miss seeing any of your gorgeous creations and scrumy posts. Fingers and toes crossed this time that Google will let me post. Not sure why this problem is happening as I'm able to follow blogs etc.
Thank for sharing your lovely creations and I'm sure to be unavailable to do any housework or chores etc. whilst I'm here with you enjoying your blog. Tee hee hee.
    Warmest best wishes,

    1. Thank you so much, Carmen! I had forgotten how long ago I started my blog or how really terrible my photography was-lol. I haven’t looked back this far in forever so it’s interesting to revisit and see how things change over the years. I’m still learning as I go, and am so thankful for all the wonderful people (like YOU!) I’ve met through blogging and through following the blogs of others.

I just noticed that the very first comment I received on this (my very first post) came from Su, who I met when she purchased some of my tags on EBay. We started chatting by email, then by phone, and now by FaceTime all the way between the United States and France. We have passed countless hours chatting and crafting together over the years. We’ve watched our children grow into adults and been there for each other during both joyful and devastating life events. During the pandemic lockdown we sometimes chatted for 3 hours a day (we actually spent a couple of hours playing Yahtzee together today!). Though we’ve not yet been together in the same place we are the very best of friends. She is my most important reason for wanting to travel to France as soon as possible.

I’ve found that blogging/social media is not only an opportunity to share what we love, but also a opening for forming connections with people we would never have otherwise met. You never know when God will bring you together with someone who will change your life or is destined to be a lifelong friend. I’m incredibly grateful to have met you through your blog. You are sharing not only amazing fashion, but also joy, positivity, love of nature, and the importance of being environmentally ethical and aware. Thank you for making the world a better and happier place!

    2. I'm so glad I checked again! It seemed my comment didn't go through, but now I see it's here and that you've replied! I did not get a notification.

I totally agree, blogging is a fun way to share our interests and meet people from around the world that we would not have met otherwise. What a wonderful friendship you and Su have and I hope you'll get to meet in France someday!

You are a very loving and positive person, and a blessing to many! I know I am very blessed to have met you through blogging and I sincerely appreciate your encouragement! God is good!
